As a Kindergartener at Tamim Academy, our son has transitioned from preschool to fully embracing the joy of learning. We feel so fortunate to know that our son is part of a learning environment that encourages blossoming individuality while building a close sense of community. We are undeniably grateful for the dedicated morahs who have guided and inspired our son to develop a deep appreciation for Jewish values, the Hebrew language, tradition, friendships, and academics.

Tamim has truly changed our daughter’s life in the best way possible. When looking at different kindergartens, I toured around seven schools (including charter, private, and public). At Tamim our family has found the perfect fit. I always tell admin that it is just a magical place, and really there are no other words to describe it. It is the perfect mix of Montessori and Reggio Emilio based learning, with strong academics. My daughter is flourishing there. They have small class sizes with 1 to 3 teachers in each class. In the morning, my daughter learns Judaic studies and in the afternoon she learns general education. She is five years old and is able to identify the sounds and letters to both the Hebrew and English alphabets. She can write her entire English alphabet and her name in Hebrew and English!!! Her teachers and principal are completely transparent, and always open to feedback and communication. Words cannot express the amount of gratitude that I have for Tamim. We live almost 45 minutes away and the drive is well worth it for this truly special place. My husband and I have even talked about moving closer because our plan is to send our younger boys to Tamim as well and to be members of this community for years to come!!! Thank you Tamim for everything!!!!

Our son is currently in 4th grade at Tamim Academy. This is his first year at Tamim, and we have seen him truly flourish this year. Although this is his first year at the school, he is happy, confident, and already feels well integrated into the community. His growth in Hebrew language and Jewish knowledge has been remarkable, far beyond what we expected. He is even excited to give the dvar torah at the Shabbat table each week. We have been both surprised and deeply impressed by his learning in such a short time.
Additionally, his secular studies have been stellar. His creative writing skills have grown significantly, his math skills are strong, and he comes home genuinely excited about his science projects. We are incredibly grateful that he has such a nurturing and inspiring learning environment, one that supports academic excellence while also building a strong foundation in Hebrew and Jewish studies. It means so much to us that he is in a school where he can proudly express his Jewish identity while receiving an outstanding education.

We are grateful to have Tamim Academy so close to home, and would strongly recommend this school to any Jewish family that wants their children to build a strong Jewish identity along with excellent academic and social skills.
